Walsall boss Richard Money today demanded ‘no excuses’ from his struggling side when they enter the pressure cooker of tomorrow’s crunch clash with Port Vale
Money admitted his side must step up to the mark against Vale at the Banks’s Stadium after their dismal start to the season left only crisis club Leeds between them and the bottom of the table.

“I think any game is a good game to have to be honest,” said Money.

And Money has hinted he will turn to experience in a bid to find the winning formula, with Danny Sonner, Michael Dobson and Tommy Mooney all hoping to return from injury.

“I think in the main you need old heads. I think Port Vale will bring a very vocal following and I think there will be a big atmosphere.”
