Money rules out Leeds swoop
Wednesday 5th September 2007, 4:14PM BST.
Walsall boss Richard Money has room for manoeuvre in his budget to recruit loan signings but he laughed off reports linking him with a swoop for Leeds’ Republic of Ireland international Jonathan Douglas as ‘rubbish’ and ‘pie in the sky’.
He does have some good news with Tommy Mooney, Michael Dobson and Danny Sonner all in with a chance of returning from injury ahead of schedule to face Port Vale on Saturday.
Money will field a youthful reserve side against Wolves at the Banks’s Stadium tonight (7pm).
