The Lines

Monday 2nd July 2007, 2:51PM BST.

Who are they? Alex Ohm, vocals and guitar
Chris Titley, bass

Dean Bate, guitar

Ryan Edwards, drums

Where are they from? Wolverhampton

What’s their sound? Indie. They describe their music as having “a psychedelic edge” and “euphoric soundscapes” which draw comparisons with classic bands. Live, The Lines have “a uniqueness and stage presence to grace anywhere with ease”, they say.

What sort of venues do they play? The Varsity, Little Civic, Wulfrun Hall, Civic Bar, and nationally around Manchester, Leeds and London

Anything else? The boys managed to survive a support gig with tabloid bad boy Pete Doherty’s Babyshambles. They are unsigned but have also supported the likes of Editors, the Midlands’ The Twang, Wolverhampton’s Scott Matthews and The Holloways. So don’t be surprised if they soon move up to the indie big league.

These boyz sound like Savage garden on Aceeed!!! An obliteration of sonic pump action bought on by the ingestion of too much “Meanz Heinz” Some hard and doused with too much special Sauce.

Having only been kicked out of home last week by a mother that was “fed up with the din” . They now all live in a Skip round the back of Beaties in Wolverhampton. Living on a diet of discarded Burger King and gutter water the boyz have also been “rolling Their own” from discarded nub ends!

A deal seems likely if they can find somewhere to have a shower.
