Mr Rothery, of Hazelmere Drive, Chasetown, said he believed it was the biggest private collection of its kind in Britain.
He said: “People know I collect it and just give it to me from their church cupboards that have not been opened for years and years. It is all pre-1945 because it stopped being made after the war and it stopped being used as well.”
The exhibition was hosted by the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District of The Methodist Church.
