In a unique and groundbreaking move, the UK’s Prostate Cancer Research Foundation is bringing Bob Monkhouse back from the dead.

To coincide with Men’s Health Week, June 11th sees the launch of the ‘Give a few bob’ campaign, which will feature Bob himself (yes, the real Bob), who died of prostate cancer in 2003, looking back on his own life and death in a 40 second ad that has been created using advanced filming and editing techniques.

I loved Bob’s humour and he sent me a signed photo of himself in the late 1990′s. He was a brilliant comedian and starred with Wednesbury born comedy actor Richard Wattis in DENTIST ON THE JOB !!

I wish the appeal all the luck in the world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this was very uncomfortagble to watch and have credibility. Maybe Bob Monkhouse would have agreed but it doesn’t look or feel right for me…..
