Put together by the amateur Birmingham and Midland Operatic Society’s Musical Theatre Company, the show features both new music and new lyrics and will run at the Hurst Street theatre from June 26 to 30.
Danni, aged 19, who works as a waitress at TGI Fridays in Birmingham said: “It’s an honour to be playing the lead in such a high-profile performance.” She was part of the society’s youth programme and has risen through the ranks to take the starring role.
Evening shows take place from 7.30pm, while matinees are at 2.30pm on the Wednesday and Saturday.
Tickets priced from £8 to £20 are available on 0870 7301234.
