The woman who built a K9
Thursday 24th May 2007, 11:50AM BST.
When her beloved dog Dougal died, Louise Edge could not face replacing him.
So instead, the Dr Who fan built her own K9 robotic dog.
The radio controlled machine, which took 18 months to create, has been mistaken by visitors for the real K9, star of the hit series.
Louise said it can do everything the actual model can do. And she can see what it can see as it has a camera built into its head.
Video reporter Victoria Hoe went to meet the 42-year-old from Willenhall. And her new companion.
