Radio Wulfrun chairman Richard Stanton said: “With this service we can accept dedications from anyone who knows a patient in New Cross and wants to let them know they are thinking about them.”
To use the service a friend or relative needs to include the patient’s name and the ward they are on, the song they want played and a time during the weekday evenings or weekend that they want it played.
Requests can be granted most evenings from 7pm to 10pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm or Sundays from 11am to 2pm and 5.30pm to 7pm.
The service starts tomorrow and costs normal text rates. The number to text is 07807 539789 but presenters can still be reached on 01902 307807.
