Luxury apartments selling fast
Wednesday 2nd May 2007, 3:00PM BST.
A fifth of the apartments at a new residential development on Bromford Road, Oldbury, have been sold before the sales office opens on site this weekend.
Aston Square by George Wimpey West Midlands has built 24 luxury two-bedroom apartments – and five have immediately been snapped up off-plan by a combination of first-time buyers, young professionals and canny investors.
Sales manager Anne Wallace, said: “We’re not surprised really because the recent Aston Court development of 32 properties on the same street all sold off-plan before the show apartment could be built – so this a second chance for all those that missed out.
“Local reaction has been very positive too, as we’re dramatically improving the look and appeal of that part of Bromford Road.
“Since the old Victorian terrace housing was removed the site has become a bit of an eyesore, but Aston Square will bring chic and sophistication to downtown Oldbury.
“It’s great to finally have a presence on site, because investors and homebuyers can really start to get a feel of what’s coming and how they can be a part of it.”
She added that people who buy early will get the pick of the crop and be able to secure more favourable deals at pre-showhome prices.
Available from just £119,995, each apartment comes with a parking space and a host of designer trimmings as standard.
The two-bedroom Linley is the same design that proved so popular at the previous Aston Court development, while the Linwood has striking turreted rooms.
And the biggest apartment, the Himley, offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms from £133,995.
Call 0121 7069316 for details, or visit the new sales office on Bromford Road.
It is open seven days a week from 10am to 5.30pm between Monday and Saturday and from 11am to 5.30pm on Sunday.
