She began training for the role in February and joined the team at Willenhall police station last month. She works closely with regular officers to patrol the streets. The officer said: “I am the eyes and ears of the police in the community.
“Most people are very friendly and stop for a chat. It is a very enjoyable job and I am happy in my role.”
PCSO Lally works shifts 8am-5pm, 1-11pm and 3-12pm. Sgt Gary Ashby said she was a welcome addition to the team.
“Suki is an asset and is closely guarded by the officers she works with,” he said. She can be contacted on 0845 1135000.
