What next for Tony Mowbray’s men? Would you settle for a play-off place after the pre-season optimism?

Albion could have won four or five one on another night. They will still make the play-offs as Preston are choking early this season!

Who cares! Mowbray knows whats best for Sandwell (pressure too much for you?), keep up the good work! See you in the playoffs (if you make it!). Hopefully you may have enough players left to form a team!

The signs were on the wall when the Baggies were beaten by us at SOL and Tony Mowbray made such disparaging comments about our team (Sunderland). It takes a big and confident man to praise his rivals when they have just beaten you no matter by how close a margin.

Sunderland fans have a lot of respect for the Baggies but very little for your manager.

Robinson should have received a second yellow card for physically dragging an injured player off the pitch. I know he was eager to get on with taking a throw-in, but it amounts to physical assault. It is the job of the physio to assess an injury. Robinson could have aggravated it.

In my opinion Mowbray seemingly a very positive person, would be pleased if we go up this year, but doesn’t really think that we will. I mean this in no detrimental way, I think he is looking to get rid of the glory boys and build a team of his own to go up with next year. Let’s face it, if we can’t beat teams who are below us at this stage, how are we going to survive in the Premiership. I love our lads, but at the end of the day they need to score goals. I think Mowbray is a really good manager, he’s astute and has struck the right balance regards his relationship with the players. He calls a spade a spade, but can also be compassionate when necessary. It is my belief that with patience and new blood Albion will be up there with the best in the future. We need all of the players to want it as much as we fans do.

Is mobray really up to the task ?
I dont think so, I also think half the team arent either, Peace has made a lot of good decisions for this club but appointing mobray wasnt one of them, if we make it to the playoffs i think we’d be very lucky to go up. We would need a masive overhaul on this current squad of “talkers”.

disaster ! automatic promotion now gone and now not even making the play offs looks a distinct possibility…..let alone winning them….no parachute payment next season means cutbacks.
Get rid of the primma donnas and ageing so called stars and rebuild for the long term with young promising hungry players like they have over at the molineux.

Hold on fellow midlanders! Don’t despair too much!
Sandwell may rate as bottom of my favourite team list, but I do recognise you have a decent team, for this league at least!
I do expect you to make the playoffs and can only hope that if we meet the gold will prevail! Maybe in the ‘friendly’(wouldn’t that be nice?!) playoff final!
Anyway, TM seems a decent chap apart from his attempts at some mind game comments and a little disrespect to a couple of teams that have beaten you recently (his charity at going to a place like Sandwell is nigh on saintly!).
See you in the playoffs! UP THE WOLVES!

You have to look at form at this present time and i think that Stoke will make the playoffs. That makes it Derby,Preston,Stoke. Then it’s a dog fight for Wolves and West Brom. The big advantage for West Brom is the goals scored.

I don’t think the better WBA players will want to go up this season. They could then leave WBA for Prem Clubs banking big sign on fees as they go. Good Luck to them it is a short career. Also I would want to go in every day and listen to Mowbray every day.

Nice to see that waste of space Leon Clarke at least doing his bit for Wednesday, Wolves and the rest of the Play Off Hopefulls in the sendings off. Shame that… just like when u miss out on the play offs and all 3 of Ur decent players go back to the Prem..We’ll maybe see them there..

I am a wolves fan, but watched the game. Thought Albion could and maybe should have won the game, taking into consideration possession and chances. Although Kamara saw a lot of the ball he was far from clinical!! Did the Duke touch the ball????
