skatepark-4-jl-20.jpgA popular Stourbridge skatepark will close at the end of the month after the owner agreed to give up the lease.

Ramparts, under the Bell Street multi-storey car park, owes Dudley Council thousands in rent.

Owner Lois Bramall, a former borough councillor, tried to pay back the debt after struggling to break even.

The council has come to an agreement with Mrs Bramall’s solicitors that the lease will run out at the end of April.

Mrs Bramall disputes the amount of arrears and the reason the lease is expiring.
