Man dead in car park

The body of a 47-year-old Stafford man has been found on a doctor’s surgery car park in a village near the town.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found dead outside Great Haywood Doctor’s Surgery on Wednesday morning. It is not yet known how he died but police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Emma Stanley, spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police’s Chase Division, said: “Police can confirm the body of a 47-year-old man, who has been living in the Stafford area, was found in the car park of Great Haywood Doctor’s Surgery shortly after 8.15am on February 28.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”
