Mozza is king of the stage

Morrissey

Birmingham NIA

If the true test of a bona- fide music legend is whether their material has retained its relevancy, then Morrissey merits a lifetime membership to the rock aristocracy.

Prancing theatrically across the stage with the majesty and exuberance of a singer half his age, the voice of the disenchanted still looks pretty damn regale too.

Nominated as one of Britain’s top three living Icons in a recent poll alongside Sir Paul McCartney and Sir David Attenborough, the former Smith’s frontman informed the fervent, but sparse, NIA crowd that his own knighthood was long overdue.

Delving into his back catalogue of timeless Smith’s anthems Panic, Girlfriend In A Coma and the seminal How Soon is Now, it was difficult to argue.
