Ian Davies, from Stay Loose Records, has been selling more online due to lockdown

Ian Davies, who runs Stay Loose Records, based in Wolverhampton city centre, was forced to close his doors once again when the third national lockdown was announced in January.

But he has now moved his business to online – selling records through eBay and specialist site Discogs. Since then he has sold records across the world.

Ian, 43, said: “I have been selling on the two sites and we have been selling all over the world – it’s not just in Wolverhampton.

“I have sold some in the US, Mexico, all over Europe. It has been keeping us going during lockdown.

"We are not taking in as much as we would when it is physical sales – but it will be better when the shops reopen.

“Roll on April 12 – we will try to keep the online sales running when the shop reopens too.”

He added: “It has been successful for us – the more we sell, the more we get noticed.

“I now have a 100 per cent feedback score on eBay.

“I try to post out the same, or the latest the next day, after someone buys a record.

“A lot of people check the reviews so having 100 per cent is doing us really well.”
