Beth Hart - Symphony Hall, Birmingham

Beth Hart

Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Beth Hart brings a set of blues, rock and jazz to Birmingham this Friday.

She rose to fame with the release of her 1999 single LA Song (Out Of This Town) from her second album Screamin' for My Supper. Beth has worked alongside the likes of Joe Bonamassa and Slash.

The Real Thing - Robin 2, Bilston

The Real Thing

Made up of the three original vocalists, Chris Amoo, Eddy Amoo and Dave Smith, The Real Thing will bring their hit-filled set to the Black Country this weekend.

Expect hits such as You To Me Are Everything, Can't Get By Without You and Feel The Force.

Festive Gift Fair - NEC, Birmingham

Get into the Christmas spirit at this year's Festive Gift Fair - at Birmingham's NEC - where guests can eat, drink and shop at more than 325 stalls.

As shoppers stroll around the three-day fair, they will also be treated to live music from bands, as well as a host of other festive entertainers.

Runs from 9.30am to 5pm each day. Ends Sunday.

Undeterred, he begins his saga of convincing all the necessary players, from his sweet but protective mother, to his straightlaced teacher, Miss Shields, all the way to Santa Claus himself, that he needs that gun for the protection of his loved ones, and maybe even a little cowboy glory to call his own.

Donnington Bonfire - Broadoaks Playing Field

Mark and Alfred Mitchell get ready for the annual Donnington Bonfire. They have been running the event for 35 years

The 35th annual Donnington Bonfire is set to be the biggest yet, with more than 10,000 people expected.

Hundreds of pallets have been collected and are now being stacked up ahead of the event on Saturday.

Entry is £2 for adults and free entry for children under one metre tall.

The gates open at 4pm, fire works start at 7pm, the bonfire will be lit at 8pm then the grand finale firework display will be at 9pm.

Tickets are being sold on the gate on the day.

Al Murray: Let's Go Backwards Together - Stafford Gatehouse

Al Murray

English comedian and TV personality Al Murray brings his latest tour to Stafford this weekend.

The comic is best known for his character The Pub Landlord, and for his stand-ups shows quick repartee.
