Gok Wan, 39, will be making his pantomime debut in the city starring as The Man In The Mirror, while John Partridge, best known for playing Christian in EastEnders will play the handsome Prince.

Meanwhile, television and film legend Stephanie Beacham, who appeared in Dynasty, will take to the stage as The Wicked Queen.

Gary Wilmot will also star in the show.

Danielle Hope, aged 21 and who won the BBC's talent show Over the Rainbow, will be starring as Snow White.

No actual dwarfs will be appearing in the show, with the magnificent seven being played by physical theatre actors wearing special costumes to make them look small.

Stuart Griffiths, chief executive at Birmingham Hippodrome added: "We are absolutely thrilled that Qdos Entertainment have put together one of the most spectacular casts we have had at Birmingham Hippodrome.

"This will be a production that will appeal to families of all ages and seals our reputation as the home of the UK's biggest pantomime."

The show runs at the Hurst Street theatre from December 19 to February 2.

Tickets are priced from £12 to £39.
