BGT to pre-record semi-final act

Britain's Got Talent chiefs have decided to pre-record a motorbike daredevil act for the semi-final because their stunts are too complex to film live.

Show bosses have taken the unprecedented step of filming BoldDog FMX, who were seen jumping over ramps outside the studios during their first audition, in advance of the semi-final show.

It is said to be the first time a semi-final act has been pre-recorded for the show, featuring Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams as judges.

All four judges were seen looking on, open-mouthed, as the motorbike riders performed their 75ft-high stunts, leaving the sites of their bikes in mid-air, earlier this year.

Now a source has said: "We are pre-recording their semi-final appearance. It is for logistical reasons as the stunt will need to be outdoors and has a complex set up."

The pre-recording is expected to take place on Tuesday, and will once again be outside.

Salsa dancers Paddy and Nico, Sex Bomb singer Cristian Grigore Spiridon, girl group REAformed and singer-songwriters Bars & Melody have been guaranteed a place in the semi-final after getting through on the Golden Buzzer.
