Knight will be part of a star-studded panel for Starstruck, an ITV Saturday night entertainment show.

She will be joined on the panel by award-winning singer and actress Sheridan Smith, Queen frontman Adam Lambert and comedian Jason Manford, with Olly Murs confirmed as presenter.

Knight said: "Every show, we get to witness ordinary people emulate extraordinary icons on a huge scale and I’m so here for it.

"I’m looking forward to hearing and seeing those spectacular transformations and being a cheerleader for every contestant"

Following in the footsteps of Stars in their Eyes, Starstruck will see members of the public transformed into their favourite music star for one night only, teaming up as part of a trio who all share the same love of a music icon to perform on stage.

The talent team will help to transform those taking part into some of the world’s biggest music icons from Amy Winehouse to Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie to Lady Gaga, Marvin Gaye to Michael Buble, and many more.

The series will see six heats and one grand final, with four teams of three battling it out for the votes of the judging panel and virtual audience, with the winners of the Grand Final walking away with £50,000.

Each episode will culminate in a finale which sees the winning trios compete against each other for a place in the grand final.

Katie Rawcliffe, head of entertainment commissioning at ITV, said: "I can’t wait to see which talented members of the public leave our extraordinary panel Starstruck.

"With fabulous transformations, lots of fun and the brilliant Olly Murs at the helm, it’s going to be hugely entertaining for the whole family."
