The four strong trendy girl band who all wore co-ordinated black outfits were at the HMV store at the Fort Shopping Park in Birmingham to meet fans and sign copies of their debut album DNA.

Little Mix were the first group to win the ITV1 singing show. Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, met with fans and accepted the numerous gifts which included jewellery, teddies and letters.

The band also chatted to fans about their shock at X factor favourite 16-year – old Ella Henderson’s shock exit from the programme on Saturday. Leigh Anne said: “There’s absolutely no way Ella should have gone.”

Band mate Perrie admitted she was shocked but said James was her favourite so was pleased he had not been voted off.
