Black Country applicants being sought for Channel 4's Hunted

People from the Black Country and Staffordshire are being encouraged to sign up to the Channel 4 show Hunted.

The series, which began airing in 2015, follows a number of volunteers as they try to go off the grid and become a fugitive in the UK.

Contestants could take part alone or with friends, family or colleagues.

A prize of £100,000 will be shared equally between the fugitives who successfully evade capture.

A spokesman for the show said: "We are looking for people of all ages, backgrounds and professions to try and evade capture from a team of expert trackers.

"We will cover reasonable pre-agreed loss of earnings for everyone who participates."

The show is being produced by Shine TV which makes MasterChef for BBC1 and The Island with Bear Grylls for Channel 4.
