The Radials, Trainers and Transport show will display the restored vehicles in the first show of it's type this year at Wolverhampton's Halfpenny Green Airport.

The show was in jeopardy after bosses at the airport nearly pulled out of hosting the display. Richard Currinn, organiser, said: "It's been difficult organising everything, there's been a few sleepless nights and it's been a lot to organise from scratch, it's been two years since the last show.

"Unfortunately the long-time organiser of the Wings and Wheels shows, Vince Myers, passed away and this is the first event like this we've done since. There's been quite a few hiccups along the way, the airport changed hands and that put it in the balance."

Attractions confirmed include a pair of the American Beechcraft Model 18's and the G-GWFT – as well as some Daleks.

It costs £5 per person, children under eights go for free. For more information go to halfpennygreenevents.co.uk
