Celeb chef Jean-Christophe Novelli to appear at Stafford Cheese and Ale Festival
Top celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will be making a guest appearance at the Cheese and Ale Festival in Stafford in June.
Organisers of the popular two-day event have confirmed Jean-Christophe will be pitting his culinary skills against a local chef in a 'cook off' as well as opening up the festival with a demonstration of his cooking talent – using Staffordshire produce.
Jean-Christophe is a five out of five AA Rosette and multi-Michelin Star award-winning chef.
He has been a familiar household name over many years having appeared on a diverse range of TV programmes – including as a head chef in Hell's Kitchen, A Question of Sport and Countryfile.
The festival takes place on June 16 and 17.
Jean-Christophe will be appearing on Saturday.
He said: " It will be great to meet the stall holders and source some local produce to include in my demonstrations."
