He will be bringing his new show, Some People vs Reginald D Hunter, to the MET Studio at the Gatehouse Theatre on May 20.

He is coming to Stafford as part of his UK tour, following on from his successful tour around Europe.

His work has been described by Gatehouse bosses as "brutally honest" as he tackles topics which are "often considered to be controversial."

His appearances on television have included 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and the hugely popular three-part BBC2 series Reginald D Hunter's Songs Of The South, which documented his epic road trip from North Carolina to New Orleans through 150 years of American popular song.

Tickets for his show in Stafford on Saturday, May 20, at 8pm, are now on sale, priced at £23.50.

They can be bought from the box office on 01785 619080 or online via staffordgatehousetheatre.co.uk
