SLAM Wrestling returned to the Prince of Wales Theatre, Cannock, and played out to 430 people.

The wrestlers, who included Hednesford's Luke Douton, took part in a game where four of them had to compete to bring down a championship belt suspended 15 feet high above a ring. Mr Douton, aged 29, who performs under his stage name Layton Cole, said: "It's getting really popular now. It's is exactly the same as WWE, it's just a little bit smaller."Mr Douton, from Pye Green, also runs the regional branch of the Al Snow Wrestling Academy in Hednesford. The show will tour the UK, stopping off in Rugeley and Wolverhampton.
