Hazel O'Connor to play Bilston

Eighties punk star Hazel O'Connor, who found fame with the film Breaking Glass, will perform in Bilston next month.

The Midlands singer-songwriter, who hails form Coventry, recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of the film whose soundtrack, including Will You and Eight Day, went platinum and reached number five in the British album charts.

She will be joined on The Robin 2 stage by Clare Hirst, who has played sax with the Bellestars, Communards and David Bowie, and keyboards player Sarah Fisher who performed with the Eurythmics.
