Pupils take to the stage as Young Voices returns to Genting Arena

Thousands of primary school pupils will perform as part of the world's largest children's choir in a five-night show starting tonight.

Young Voices starts tonight at Birmingham's Genting Arena.

Every night around 6,000 children, aged six to 13, will perform. It starts tonight at 7pm. Further performances will be on tomorrow, Thursday, January 30 and January 31. Tickets are priced from £22.70.

The nationwide tour, which also features venues in Sheffield, London and Manchester, will see a total of 120,000 kids take to the stage alongside artists like the Beatbox Collective and soprano Laura Wright.

Young Voices was developed to help unite children and boost their confidence.

Over the years, Young Voices choirs have performed with stars such as Alexandra Burke, Joss Stone and Gary Barlow.
