The show, featuring support from Modern Studies, follows the release of his new album, Astronaut Meets Appleman.

The new album explores the tension and harmony between tradition and technology and also invokes a feeling that King Creosote – otherwise known as Fife's Kenny Anderson – calls 'being caught between heaven and earth'.

He said: "I wanted to push myself songwriting-wise, so I went in with hardly anything and had to wing it."
