Undefeated as a professional, and a five-division world champion, Mayweather is widely considered to be one of the greatest boxers of all time.

The American boxer will be the special guest during a Q&A, as well as at a meet and greet during a Las Vegas themed ball on March 4 at the ICC.

This latest event is raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital and Cure Leukaemia, through donations during the night and a memorabilia auction.

A host of celebrities from boxers to reality TV stars and footballers have snapped up the VIP tickets and will get the chance to enjoy a red carpet reception before the event.

Promoter Andy Sahota from Wolverhampton-based Showfighter said he is thrilled to be hosting Mayweather in the second city, a real hotbed of boxing and for such an emotive causes

He said: "We know in recent months Birmingham has hosted some big world title fights and it is clear there is a massive support for the sport in this city. But Mayweather is so much more than a boxer these days, he has a global celebrity following and a lifestyle which everyone will be curious to find out more about."

Mr Sahota added: "It's going to be a rollercoaster of a night, with plenty of ups and downs.

"We want everyone who attends, whether they pay £39.50 or thousands, to come away feeling that it was an experience that they will never forget."

"It's going to be a big spectacle, with six metre screens, lighting and special effects."

A guest interviewer yet to be confirmed will be asking questions of Mayweather, and throughout the night there will be a live feed running of the heavyweight bout between David Haye and Tony Bellew.

On arrival guests will be treated to a canapé and Champagne reception, complete with live music.

They will then be taken through to the main dining room with 500 seats, where over the course of the night they will enjoy a three-course meal.

Further entertainment will be provided by a Rat Pack band, an impersonator, Birmingham rapper Mist, and more artists as yet to be revealed.

Tickets for the event start from £39.50 with dinner packages for the event available starting at £150.

VIP and VVIP tickets are also available on request.

There are still sponsorship opportunities available to businesses wanting to support with the event.
