Strictly star Brendan Cole is heading back to Wolverhampton with his new show All Night Long.

He will play the city's Grand Theatre on January 26 and is looking forward to it.

"A new production is always exciting, it gives me a chance to make it different from the last, getting it right creatively therefore making it fresh so the punters keep coming back.

"We have phenomenal lighting, music, costuming, everything is at its absolute best, it's a great night of entertainment, a big show, full on from start to finish."

Cole named the show after the Lionel Richie hit. "It's nothing to do with my stamina," he laughs. "It's what encompasses the show. All Night Long for me is a great song, everyone knows it, even the intro to the music has a party vibe, a feeling of excitement so it's what sums it up – tonight we are going to have a party.

"The show is a celebration of music and dance, theatre and audience which all comes together for this one big night."

"Every number is very different and diverse.

"There are eight dancers in the show, we have to have people who fit the role. Everyone has to bring something unique, we can't have everyone looking the same. They need to be able to hold a stage too keeping the audiences captivated at all times.

"Likewise with the musicians, we have a 14-piece band, some of the best musicians in the country if not the world. A lot of shows don't have live music which adds to the whole greatness of it all."

Tickets are available from the venue.
