Thousands of visitors attend Dudmaston Hall Christmas craft fair
Thousands of visitors flocked to a Christmas craft fair ensuring it was the organiser's biggest ever event.
About 6,500 people hunted for festive gifts around Dudmaston Hall, in Quatt, near Bridgnorth.
The included craft and food stalls provided by local producers, and entertainment and activities for children.
Alexandra Blakeman, marketing and events manager at Dudmaston, said: "It was our biggest numbers ever.
"Saturday in particular was incredibly busy. We had a very festive atmosphere with 75 local stall holders inside and outside the hall.
"We also had performances from choirs and bands including the Bridgnorth Male Voice Choir. The male choir was raising money for prostate cancer.
"They were brilliant and got everyone in the festive spirit with some carol singing.
"There was a big range of stallholders and we were really happy with the local produce on offer.
"There were lots of families doing children's crafts, who made decorations for their Christmas trees at home.
"We had lots of new visitors, which was really good."
Ms Blakeman said that the numbers from the fair were boosted thanks to extra visitors arriving from all over the county and further afield into the West Midlands.
She said: "People came from Birmingham, which was brilliant for us.
"We were really pleased with how the event all went.
"The Quirky Fox Gallery and Meg Hawkins, from Burwarton, were selling prints. They were both very popular.
"Our tea room was open but there were also food stalls, including one called Binkiez, selling tea-cake-like treats, they completely sold out on the Saturday so they couldn't come back on the Sunday.
"There were lots of other stalls with jars and pickles."
