The Jake Leg Jug Band will perform their own twist on music of that time at Stafford Gatehouse's MET Studio.

Signed to UK jazz record label Lake Records, the band are renowned for 'swinging live shows' which cover jazz, blues, gospel, ragtime and 'everything else in between'.

When not on tour, the band produce their albums as part of the Vintage Recording Project – using technology and recording techniques as it would have been back in the 1930s.

Their last three albums, titled Cotton Mouth, Next Stop! and their latest Everythin's Jake, have all met with rave reviews.

The performance will take place on Thursday, December 15, from 7.30pm.

Tickets, which are priced at £12.50, are available by calling the box office on 01785 619080 or visiting the website at www.stafford gatehousetheatre.co.uk.
