This year's event runs from Thursday, November 24 to Saturday, November 26 in Dudley Town Hall.

It will feature more than 80 real ales this year as well as a selection of foreign beers, cider and wine.

Organisers from the Dudley and South Staffordshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale chose a phoenix rising from the ashes as the logo for the event after the event was initially called off .

It was saved after Jacqui Edwards came forward as festival organiser and branch members rallied round to take on other roles. It opens at 5.30pm on the Thursday and runs from 12 noon to 11pm on the Friday and Saturday.

Holden's Brewery in Woodsetton is sponsoring the beer festival which will include a range of stronger brews, session and mid-strength beers, together with new brews from local and national breweries and micro breweries.
