Anthrax to play Birmingham

Thrash metal legends Anthrax will perform in Birmingham next year, it has been announced.

The American rockers, formed back in 1981, are considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene during the 1980s.

The New York band is best known for songs such as Madhouse, Bring The Noise and I Am The Law.

The group's upcoming tour will see them support their latest album For All Kings. They are also set to perform their classic third album Among The Living in full, plus other greatest hits.

They will perform at the O2 Institute on February 9.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday at 10am.
