Joe Lycett and Mark Watson selling out at Brierley Hill Civic Hall

Lycett, from Birmingham, and Bristolian Watson have appeared on a host of programmes including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and many more.

They will be supported by Black Country comic Jonny Cole, from Wednesbury, on February 18.

It is the second installment of Live At The Civic, the brainchild of Dudley promoter and resident compere Wayne Beese.

In July Doc Brown, Paul Tonkinson and The Fizzogs wowed a crowd of nearly 550 - but the attendance for the second one has already smashed past that.

Beese said the response had been incredible - and warned people to book now or risk being disappointed.

"It's always been my aim with this show to keep the ticket price as low as possible," he said.

"We could all do with a laugh the way things are in the world at the moment and I want it to be affordable for everybody.

"We ran a special £10 ticket offer for two weeks in July when the line-up was announced and it went crazy, we sold nearly 300 tickets.

"Since then we have been running a £12.50 early bird offer which expires at midnight on Monday.

"It will go up to the full price of £18.50 after that - that's if we have any tickets left by then!

"The stalls are pretty much completely full bar the odd single seat, and the balcony is quickly filling up as well now.

"If we carry on selling at the rate we have been the last couple of weeks, they will all be gone before Monday.

"So if you want to come and see a real top night of stand-up comedy, get booking now."
