The Grade II listed former Star Works car factory has been transformed into the Starworks Warehouse and opened earlier this year.

Bosses had approval to host six club nights in its first year of opening, and applied to Wolverhampton council to increase that to 10. Officials have approved the plans, paving the way for more events nights.

The 40,0000 sq ft building is located on Frederick Street, next to St John's Retail Park.

The building, originally known as Moxley Foundry, used to house The Star Motor Company, one of the first mass production car companies in the UK. The site dates back to 1903. PJ Harvey is one of the big acts announced to play the venue on November 4.
