Shorelle Hepkin, from CBBC's Wolfblood, stars as The Fairy with Keith De'Winter back as Dame Dolly.

A fully professional cast will also be ably supported by the Studio 5 Dancers in the show.

The traditional show will follow the classic story of Jack as he trades Daisy the cow for magic beans that magically grow into a giant beanstalk.

Climbing the stalk, Jack goes on to discover a giant's castle full of treasures including a magical harp and a hen that lays golden eggs.

But what he comes across asleep in his castle is a wicked giant.

This latest rendition will take place at the Prince of Wales Theatre, from December 22 to 30.

Richard Kay, manager at the Church Street theatre, has been involved with pantomines at the venue for the past 30 years. He said it would be a night of fun and laughter for the crowd.

"The Prince of Wales Theatre is delighted to be working with PMA Productions for the 16th consecutive year," he said.

"We pride ourselves on ensuring traditional panto with all the usual ingredients of music and laughter and lots and lots of audience participation.

"For me, personally, this is the 30th year I have been involved in a pantomime production and I don't think Christmas is quite complete without a visit to panto."

Tickets and show times are available from the box office on 01543 578762.
