In pictures and video: Stephen Spielberg spotted filming Ready Player One in Birmingham
Spielberg gives a little wave to twitter user @KimberleyMDISCO who tweeted photographs when she spotted the director making his new film Ready Player One.

Spielberg began filming on Monday and it has not taken long for him to be spotted.
The Mitchell and Butchers worker also tweeted pictures from set.
A twitter account associated with the Great Charles Street Estate, @GreatCharlesSt, also tweeted two videos of Spielberg directing the cast.
The film, set in 2044, has an impressive cast, including Oscar winner Mark Rylance and English actor Simon Pegg, who used to busk in Birmingham while studying in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Ben Mendelsohn and T.J. Miller have also been cast for The Warner Brothers movie, which is scheduled for release in 2018.
