The two-day festival was foodie heaven and organisers were delighted with the response.

Over 8,000 people filed through the massive hanger doors of RAF Cosford keen to see just what was on the menu.

From cheese producers to beer and cider makers, pickle stands to sizzling hot sausages there was something for everyone.

And if that wasn't enough, there were live bands, climbing walls and circus tents for the children and mobiles champagne bars and waffle stalls.

Michelle Morgans, PR executive for the museum and one of the organising committee said: "We were delighted with how the festival went. Last year we had 7,000 people visit the event and this year, with online ticket sales and the amount of interest we had on the phone, we expect to top 8,000."
