The event, which is organised by Brownhills Local Committee, will include a host of stalls in addition to a travelling art gallery and a trip boat.

The canoe centre, run by Royal Sutton Coldfield canoe club in conjunction with Brownhills Community Association will be open throughout the day and offers starter sessions for all. The festival will take place on June 26 between 10am and 4pm.

Organiser Brian Stringer said: "We expect anywhere between 1,000 and 4,000 people will turn up so we will once again welcome anyone who wants to pay us a visit on the day."

Admission is free and parking on the old Market site is also free.
