Anton du Beke, star of Strictly Come Dancing, popped in to surprise dancer and actor Suzy Schwartz at her 21st birthday party.

Susan Wallin, choreographer, said: "Suzy and her friends from Side by Side couldn't believe their eyes when the door opened and Anton du Beke walked into the room.

"Suzy's brother Tom had organised the visit."

Side by Side have been practising ballroom dancing for their latest production, 'Myth In Store', which is being performed at Stourbridge Town Hall this week.

Susan added: "I told all the dancers to watch Strictly Come Dancing during the last series, to learn how to move by watching the professionals.

"The actors and dancers, who all have learning disabilities, were so excited to meet Anton, who managed to chat and dance around with most of them at the party.

"It was a wonderful afternoon."

To book tickets for the show visit www.sbstcs.org or the box office at French Deli, Coventry Street, in Stourbridge. The show will run from today until Saturday.
