Demi Rose Mawby, aged 21, has made headlines around the world after being seen cosying up to the 26-year-old American, who recently split from long-time on-again, off-again girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

The pair have been spotted together at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend and also while out on a shopping spree in Saint Laurent.

They also hung out together at the rapper's late-night gig at Gotha Club Cannes before spending time together at Nikki Beach. The 5ft 2in beauty, from Sutton Coldfield, has come a long way from her days at Walsall College where she was working towards her dream of opening her own beauty salon in Spain.

Now she has a million followers on Instagram and has modelled on the pages of magazines including WorldStar HipHop, FHM Magazine and M! Magazine Denmark.

At Walsall College, Demi, who says she had dreamed of being a model since she was a young girl, also studied Spanish.

She featured in an advertising campaign for the college in 2012 when she said it had helped her to expand her horizons and realise her full potential. On her modelling website she says: "I started modelling a year ago and it's been the best year of my life. I love what I do and feeling glamorous."

In an interview with the Daily Mail, her parents Barrie, 78, and Christine, 61, said she is a very different person at home and said they were proud of her. Former NHS wheelchair advisor Christine said: "When she's at home she's perfectly normal. She loves her cat Raggles and her big white Samoyed dog Leo. She's a great cook and is a homebody."
