Hundreds expected at Big Brother auditions in Wolverhampton nightclub

Big Brother is coming to Wolverhampton to audition hundreds of hopefuls from around the city for a chance to appear in the infamous reality TV show.

The show is touring throughout the UK this month to find the most entertaining people to appear on our TV screens later this year.

Auditions are taking place on January 28 at Gorgeous nightclub, in School Street, from 1am. Anyone who is interested is invited to take part for the 'experience of a lifetime'.

If successful, the auditionees will take part in the hit show in the summer, in TV's most famous house, with a chance to win the prize pot.

Not only that, but the winner may become a household name around the country, with previous winners of the show achieving book deals, presenting contracts and further TV appearances.

Arguably the most well-known housemate to win the show was the late Jade Goody, who appeared in Big Brother 3 in 2002-3.

It is hoped that this year's show will draw over a million viewers, following the dip in figures for the latest Celebrity Big Brother, which drew just 0.9 million viewers in the UK.

To be eligible to audition for this year's show, applicants must be over 18, should have no previous experience of appearing in reality TV in the UK and must be a permanent resident in the UK. Applications can also be submitted online.

As part of the online selection process, applicants are invited to submit a 60-second video of themselves, supply their social media details and answer the questions 'how attractive are you?', 'how funny are you?' and 'how competitive are you?' on a scale of one to ten.

Applicants will also have to provide three funny or interesting facts or stories about themselves.

The deadline for online submissions is 11.59pm on February 8, 2016. To apply online visit www.bigbrotherauditions.com
