Strictly Dancing with Wolves promises all the glitz and glamour of the hit BBC show as 13 novice dancers team up with professionals to battle it out for the crown.

This year's event will feature TV presenter Harjap Singh Bhangal, actor Suave Flava from Leciester, Coventry radio presenter Gee Kaur and Wolves blogger Ryan Leister.

Now in its third year, the event has been organised by Punjabi Wolves Supporters (PWS).

Chairman Andy Sahota said the group hopes to build on the success of last year's show, which saw around £10,000 raised for charity.

"Last year we had a truly spectacular event and we want this year's to be even better," he said.

"The competitors have been put through their paces by the professionals and they are all set to dazzle on the big night."

The 2014 competition at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall was won by Gurprit Bains and Nathan Barker. This year's event will take place at Birmingham's Tower Ballroom after organisers decided to go for a specialist dancing venue.

"The Tower Ballroom has a rich tradition of catering specifically for ballroom dancing and we thought the venue matched our needs perfectly," added Mr Sahota, from Wolverhampton.

Competitors from Wolverhampton include Emma Caulfield, Harvey Khaira and Susan Kanda, who is partnered with Dean John from the city's Zig Zag Dance Factory.

Husband and wife Jamie and Adele Roche, who are both models, will compere the evening, while the judging panel will feature celebrity hairdresser Royston Blythe and Zig Zag Dance Factory founder Warren Bullock.

Tickets for the November 14 event, including a champagne reception, a three-course meal and an after party, cost from £20-£40.
