Circus Director, Phillip Gandey, said: "All the artists are very excited to be performing in West Midlands after hearing of the warm reception we were given last year.

"Circus as an art form has gone through significant changes in the recent years and it's uplifting to see there's still a thirst for live big top productions.

"This production has been a year in the planning so we're very much looking forward to sharing our brand new family show this half term."

This year's show promises to up the performances with the inclusion of two death defying acts which are likely to have audiences on the edge of their seats.

Duo Sifolini, who are recognised as one of the most dangerous acts in the circus world, have brought along their Giant Space Wheel – which will see them perform 15 metres above the ground without any safety aids.

Producer, Carol Gandey, added: "We try to make each of our shows unique giving the audience a completely new experience year on year by showcasing the amazing skills of these highly trained performers.

"The sights, the smells and the sounds of a Big Top production give viewers a truly memorable experience which we are hoping audiences in the Midlands will love once again this half term."

The fully heated theatre big top will be on the North Car Park of shopping centre until Sunday.

Show times are 2pm, 5pm and 7.30pm Saturday and 2pm and 5pm Sunday and Friday.
