Turning back the clock to the 80s at Bilston's Robin 2

The music of the eighties will come under the spotlight during two concerts at Bilston's Robin 2 club. Kick Up The 80s will headline the venue tonight, featuring the music of U2, Simple Minds, The Jam, Madness, Adam & The Ants, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Duran Duran.

Kick Up The 80s are among the UK's best 80's tribute band and they play some of the biggest hits of the era.

With tongue firmly in cheek, the party atmosphere will be bolstered by "guest appearances" from George Michael, Freddie Mercury and Bon Jovi.

Fans of New Romantics, Rubic Cubes, Box Jackets and "Frankie Says" T-shirts can party all night.

Meanwhile, Ultimate Madness vs Ska And 2 Tone Revue will follow at the venue on Saturday.

Ultimate Madness formed in 2002 and have become one of the UK's most popular Madness tribute bands. This madcap musicians have toured extensively throughout the United Kingdom, Germany and Holland.

The band met the real Madness in 2004 and were given the thumbs up by Suggs and the boys.

It has developed a big reputation and supported acts such as Bad manners, Go West, Chesney Hawkes, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Saxon, Busted, Simon Webb from Blue and Jerry Dammers from The Specials.
