Thanks again to James Garrett for covering for me last weekend, as it was safe to say that Ibiza had me for a couple of days!

The white Isle is as magical as ever and I had some great gigs over there at places such as Es Paradis, Ocean Beach Club, Plastik and Hush. I'm well and truly getting stuck into matters in the West Midlands this weekend so here's a run down of my recommendations.

Kicking things off with a great local festival at Dunton Hall, Sutton Coldfield. Across Friday and Saturday with a fantastic entrance price and a plethora of dance acts from Techno to Jackin House with Brands such as Jack Groove, Tantalise, Enter and Colore.

Legendary DJs and free entry don't come along very often but this is most definitely the case tonight at the Vaults, Birmingham for Back Once Again. Hacienda legend Graeme Park headlines at this sumptuous venue.

Bad Habit is a brand new event at Poppy Red at The Arcadian with Bass as the main emphasis with DJs Davey Boy, Housemonkeyz and Lisa Sharred.

Fidget has assembled a great DJ line up tonight with Low Steppa and Marc Spence heading up a Jackin/Bass fest at The Rainbow.

Spin continues their assault on Wolverhampton at The Prince Albert with some great new drinks promotions to entice you in early doors. With bottles of wine being only £4 before 11PM and with the sun shining this maybe a great way to take advantage of their terrace area. DJs through the night include Rue Jay, Alex Parkin, Rossco and Keeko.

The House & Bass hype comes to Walsall tonight in the shape of HouseProud at the Wharf Bar. Featuring DJs Nimrod Randall, Steveo and Audio Punks. Fresh vibes for the town so if you're local go support!

Moving into Saturday and Addicted 2 House is having a summer send off at Vertu, Jewelery Quarter, Birmingham. Across their outdoor terrace and main room you'll find Djs playing across the spectrum of House music plus support from live artists.

House & Bass is back at Monty's in Sedgely with Wayne H and Amy Banks at the helm. Head down early doors for free CD and shot giveaways. Balearic take pride in bringing the biggest acts to Coventry and again this time around they don't disappoint. Residing at The Warehouse they've drafted in superstar Dirty South who's topped the global dance charts for many years and performs exclusively in the UK since 2011. Grant Gordon, Craig Gordon and Day Maguire support him.

Happy to say I've got a busy night on Saturday around the West Midlands. First up I'm at the brand new Mooch Bar on Broad Street laying down the early grooves and then house legend Allister Whitehead takes over. Then it's onto Coventry for Look alongside Becki De Funk where it will be more bass led anthems. This one never disappoints! Be sure to hit me up on my social networks facebook.com/stuartojelay or twitter.com/stuartojelay with all your clubbing banter.

See you on the other side,
