First up a huge thanks to James Garrett for filling in for me last week. Safe to say I had an epic few days that took me from London to Hong Kong to Vienna via Mumbai.

Great to experience such diverse cultures, tastes in music and delighted to have played sold out gigs.

But without further ado let's tell you about this weekends nocturnal revelry.

I'm looking forward to hooking up with James Garrett, Will Bailey and Jon Walker tonight at Piques, Cannock for Wicked!

They've quickly built up this brand for house lovers in the area and never disappoint.

Onefour is hosting another cocktail party at the Vaults in Birmingham tonight.

Sponsored by Belvedere you'll know you will only be served a bespoke beverage. On the decks include Sneaker Club and Ga5 mark 5.

Continuing their summer season of events, Tantalise present Palava in association with Celestial Recordings. A label that has seriously brought the heat in 2013.

Taking place at the Coach House in Solihull across their main room and terrace there's DJs Mauro Ferno & Mestivan, Jem Atkins, Steve Kelley, John Whelan, All Good & Big love.

EBL return for their Summer Ball at the Rainbow in Digbeth. Some serious hype around this one as Ms. Dynamite headlines. She'll be performing all her garage hits alongside DJs Alex Parkin, Kane and Dr Love. Moving into Saturday and it's great to see guys making things happen for the sake of the music they believe in. Jay Marks, Dan Warby and Ash Unknown have done exactly that and set up at The Hope Tavern in Dudley to showcase the finest bumpy, jackin house around. If you're local then be sure to check them out.

Two brands Twisted & Obsession team up at The Prince Albert for a night of house, bass and urban sounds across their terrace, bar and main room. DJs include Brett Maverick, Danny Jones, Edd Cooke, James Hughes and Airron Williams.

Great to see big things happening in Telford with the arrival of The Ibiza Session headlined by the legend that is Brandon Block.

Held at the Telford arena they've gone all out to input a huge production of a boosted sound system, intelligent lighting and a whole host of performers.

Djs include Tony Jay, Unsung Heroes and Mark Allen.

Sure you may know I always get a little excited to be fortunate enough to DJ at places that I've never been before.

This is the case on Saturday as I make the trip to Riga, Latvia to perform with The Shapeshifters for Hed Kandi. No doubt I'll have plenty to shout about next week so be sure to check in!

And please drop me a line on any of my social network sites like facebook.com/stuartojelay or tweet me at twitter.com/stuartojelay across the weekend wherever you may be!

See you on the other side,
