Monday 19th December 2011, 9:44AM GMT.
Strictly Come Dancing winner Harry Judd will join six other celebrity contestants when the show’s live tour hits Birmingham’s NIA next month.
The live show will be at the NIA from January 20-22, 2012. Tickets are priced at £65 (Gold Circle), £42.50 and £35, subject to booking and transaction fees, and are available at www.theticketfactory.com or on 0844 338 8000.
McFly drummer Judd will take to the floor at the NIA alongside fellow finalists, Australian actor and singer Jason Donovan and actress Chelsee Healey.
The trio will compete in front of a live audience against each other and contestants including feisty property lawyer and entrepreneur Nancy Dell’Olio, ex-EastEnders legend and national treasure Anita Dobson, former footballer Robbie Savage and ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster.
Kate Thornton will host the multi-million pound show, which returns to Birmingham for the fifth consecutive year.
The seven celebrities and their professional dance partners will be performing in front of the judging panel, which features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who is also directing the arena tour for the second year running.
This year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing began on BBC 1 back in September and saw Edwina Currie, Rory Bremner, Dan Lobb, and Lulu voted off the show in the first few weeks. The programme has received TV audiences in the region of 11.5 million viewers and the live shows are set to recreate this success.
