Rising Wolverhampton indie rockers The Lines are returning to play a hometown concert at Wulfrun Hall in December.
With fans including Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, who has said “there aren’t many good bands coming out of Wolverhampton, just one great band called The Lines”, the band plays Wulfrun Hall on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
Tickets priced £9.50 are available from Midland Box Office, on 0870 320 7000 or online at www.wolvescivic.co.uk
After releasing their self-titled debut album last year, The Lines have had a great 2011, which has included supporting Ocean Colour Scene on their sold out Moseley Shoals tour and a well received tour of North America taking in Canadian Music Week, New York and SXSW.
The Lines – Dean Bate, Dave O’Connor, Alex Ohm and Danny Pease – also completed a successful headline tour across the UK. They appeared at some of the main festivals so far this year including Dot to Dot festival, Camden Crawl, Live at Leeds and Liverpool Sound City, and have since had a quiet summer gig wise, busy writing new material which will be previewed at the Wulfrun.
